This webinar concentrated on the National Health Science Standard Standard 11: Information Technology in Healthcare. Health Information Technology (HIT) was explained and clarified, such as the difference between electronic health record and electronic medical record. The art of good telemedicine will be examined. HIPAA was reviewed and how it coincides with HIT. There were innovative student activities that can be applied to the teacher and students.
