This was one of the most influential and educational conferences I’ve ever attended. It was great meeting people to network and focusing on health science for 3 days!

It was THE BEST HEALTHCARE conference I have ever attended. It was refreshing to go to all the sessions and come out with useful information for my classroom. THANK YOU!

I can’t even describe what this conference meant to me. I learned so much and added to my repertoire of teaching tools/ideas.

Pre-conference Session Tuesday, October 27, 2020

The pre-conference morning session will be devoted to the effective use of the newly released NCHSE Health Science Curriculum Enhancements and how to improve student outcomes. The afternoon session will include visits to high profile centers on the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) campus and connections with highly specialized health professionals.

Pre-conference Sessions will be led by Rhonda Evatt and Katrina Haynes.  Here’s an example of the content you can expect in the newly revised NCHSE Health Science Curriculum Enhancements.

Why You Should Attend This Year?

All pre-conference attendees will receive a complimentary copy of the NCHSE Health Science Curriculum Enhancements (release date August 2020 and aligned to the National Health Science Standards May 2019 updates). This highly interactive resource is filled with engaging activities and technology infused lessons to support the delivery of the standards. Call for Proposals

Do you have a message you could share?

The National Health Science Conference sessions are formatted primarily for 45-50 minute breakout sessions. A limited number of 90-minute breakout sessions will be available. Rooms will be set as a theater or classroom depending upon registration numbers.

Interactive sessions with opportunities for facilitated discussion, as well as sessions with a problem-based approach, are preferred. Preference will be given to sessions that include proven and well-regarded speakers and sessions that focus on outcomes and learning rather than a lecture approach. Sessions should present a balanced view of issues and a diversity of perspectives, teaching strategies, and health professions.
